With the completion of this
renovation, PII has taken a property that was vacant for years and made it into
a viable, aesethetic, revenue producing property. The new owner will have little overhead due to the major
updates, new interior, and new appliances. By renovating this vacant property
and clearing the lot, this City of Pittsburgh street and community is a much safer
place.
No one wants a vacant,
dilapidated structure in their neighborhood...
The unfortunate truth is the City
of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County have numerous vacant properties
throughout most of their neighborhoods. Many of these properties are ignored by
developers because they are finacially unattractive. However, when a vacant structure is renovated; neighbors,
government, and society are all winners.
